Blue Ox Avail BX7420 & BX1006 Baseplate Kit

Get on the road with this all in one package and save money! The Avail tow bar tows vehicles up to 10,000 lbs. This tow bar easily folds away and stores on the back of your RV when it's not in use. This solid steel tow bar is self-aligning, has quick disconnect hookup pins, and easy-release locking handles. Plus, keeping your tow bar looking great is easy by utilizing the BX88309 tow bar cover that is included in this kit. Blue Ox baseplates are easy on your suspension and aesthetically pleasing due to their hidden reinforcement design. The BX1006 utilizes removable tab construction.

BX1006 Baseplate Footnotes:

• 1-Bumper fascia must be removed and replaced during installation
• 2-Requires some trimming of the bumper fascia, plastic and/or grill.
• 3-Requires some minor drilling.
• 13-Use only with motorhome mount tow bars or the BX8833 or BX88151 adapters. Removable tabs with only one (1) hole will not attach to car mount tow bars or other adapters. The Acclaim may only be used with removable tab baseplates that have a 22" or greater spaced tabs. The Adventurer may be used with baseplates having 18"-41" spaced removable tabs. The Ambassador may only be used with 24" spaced removable tabs.
• Important Towability Note: Blue Ox offers the above baseplate for your vehicle, but how that vehicle is equipped (i.e. automatic transmission, 4-wheel drive, etc.) must be considered when determining its towability. Please read the owner's manual and/or consult your dealer for the correct towing procedures for your vehicle. Additional equipment such as a transmission pump or driveshaft disconnect may be required and are sold separately. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in damage to the towed vehicle or personal injury.
