Blue Ox Alpha 2 Tow Bar & BX1134 Baseplate Kit for Jeep Wrangler

This steel tow bar easily folds away and stores on the back of your RV when it's not in use. It is self-aligning, has quick disconnect hookup pins, and easy-release locking handles. Plus, keeping your tow bar looking great is easy by utilizing the BX8875 tow bar cover that is included in this kit. Blue Ox baseplates are easy on your suspension and aesthetically pleasing due to their hidden reinforcement design. The BX1134 has removable tabs and takes approximately 2 hours to install.

• 1-Bumper fascia must be removed and replaced during installation.
• 3-Requires some minor drilling
• 5-5-Requires some trimming of the belly pan.
• 13-Use only with motorhome mount tow bars or the BX8833 or BX88151 adapters. Removable tabs with only one (1) hole will not attach to car mount tow bars or other adapters. The Acclaim may only be used with removable tab baseplates that have a 22 or greater spaced tabs. The Adventurer may be used with baseplates having 18-41 spaced removable tabs. The Ambassador may only be used with 24 spaced removable tabs.
• Important Fitment Note:This baseplate fits select JK Wrangler models only. See compatibility chart. Will not fit 2018 and later JL models.
• Important Towability Note: Blue Ox offers the above baseplate for your vehicle, but how that vehicle is equipped (i.e. automatic transmission, 4-wheel drive, etc.) must be considered when determining its towability. Please read the owner's manual and/or consult your dealer for the correct towing procedures for your vehicle. Additional equipment such as a transmission pump or driveshaft disconnect may be required and are sold separately. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in damage to the towed vehicle or personal injury.
