Blue Ox Avail BX7420 & BX1141 Baseplate Kit

Get on the road with this all in one package and save money! The Avail tow bar tows vehicles up to 10,000 lbs. This tow bar easily folds away and stores on the back of your RV when it's not in use. This solid steel tow bar is self-aligning, has quick disconnect hookup pins, and easy-release locking handles. Plus, keeping your tow bar looking great is easy by utilizing the BX88309 tow bar cover that is included in this kit. Blue Ox baseplates are easy on your suspension and aesthetically pleasing due to their hidden reinforcement design. The BX1141 has removable style tabs.

BX1141 Baseplate Footnotes:

• 1-Bumper fascia must be removed and replaced during installation.
• 2-Requires some trimming of the bumper (fascia, plastic and/or grill).
• 12-Baseplate has non-24 spaced attachment tabs. This requires either a motorhome mounted tow bar or an adapter to utilize a car mounted tow bar. Tow bar adapters are not to be used with vehicles weighing over 5,000 lbs
• Important Fitment Note:This BX1141 fits models with (ACC) Adaptive Cruise Control and 2-Speed Transfer Case. Will NOT fit vehicles equipped with the Technology Package. Use BX1144 for those models.
• Important Towability Note: Blue Ox offers the above baseplate for your vehicle, but how that vehicle is equipped (i.e. automatic transmission, 4-wheel drive, etc.) must be considered when determining its towability. Please read the owner's manual and/or consult your dealer for the correct towing procedures for your vehicle. Additional equipment such as a transmission pump or driveshaft disconnect may be required and are sold separately. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in damage to the towed vehicle or personal injury.
