Blue Ox BX1313 BMW Mini Cooper Baseplate

Blue Ox BX1313 baseplate was designed for 2016 BMW Mini Cooper Clubman, Does NOT fit "S" or "JCW" John Cooper Works models. Blue Ox baseplates are easy on your suspension and pleasing to the eye because they are designed with hidden reinforcements. This vehicle specific baseplate is integrated into the individual bumper design of the towed vehicle. The BX1313 has removable tabs and should take a professional installer approximately 3-4 hours to install.

BX1313 Baseplate Footnotes:

• 1-Bumper fascia must be removed and replaced during installation.
• 2-Requires some trimming of the bumper (fascia, plastic and/or grill).
• 3-Requires some minor drilling
• 12-Baseplate has non-24 spaced attachment tabs. This requires either a motorhome mounted tow bar or an adapter to utilize a car mounted tow bar. Tow bar adapters are not to be used with vehicles weighing over 5,000 lbs.
• Important Fitment Note:The BX1313 will NOT fit "S" models or "JCW" John Cooper Works models
• Important Towability Note: Blue Ox offers the above baseplate for your vehicle, but how that vehicle is equipped (i.e. automatic transmission, 4-wheel drive, etc.) must be considered when determining its towability. Please read the owner's manual and/or consult your dealer for the correct towing procedures for your vehicle. Additional equipment such as a transmission pump or driveshaft disconnect may be required and are sold separately. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in damage to the towed vehicle or personal injury.
