Blue Ox BX1016 Acura TL Baseplate

Blue Ox BX1016 baseplate was designed for 2009 Acura TL . Blue Ox baseplates are easy on your suspension and pleasing to the eye because they are designed with hidden reinforcements. This vehicle specific baseplate is integrated into the individual bumper design of the towed vehicle. The BX1016 has removeable tabs and takes approximately 3 hours to install.

BX1016 Baseplate Footnotes:

• 1-Bumper fascia must be removed and replaced during installation
• 3-Requires some minor drilling.
• 6-Headlights must be removed and reinstalled. Verify headlight projection is correct after reinstalling.
• 12-Baseplate has non-24 spaced attachment tabs. This requires either a motorhome mounted tow bar or an adapter to utilize a car mounted tow bar. Tow bar adapters are not to be used with vehicles weighing over 5,000 lbs.
• Important Towability Note: Blue Ox offers the above baseplate for your vehicle, but how that vehicle is equipped (i.e. automatic transmission, 4-wheel drive, etc.) must be considered when determining its towability. Please read the owner's manual and/or consult your dealer for the correct towing procedures for your vehicle. Additional equipment such as a transmission pump or driveshaft disconnect may be required and are sold separately. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in damage to the towed vehicle or personal injury.
