Blue Ox BX1308 BMW Mini Cooper Baseplate

Blue Ox BX1308 baseplate was designed for 2011-2016 BMW Mini Cooper Countryman, including S models. Will NOT fit "JCW" John Cooper Works models. Blue Ox baseplates are easy on your suspension and pleasing to the eye because they are designed with hidden reinforcements. This vehicle specific baseplate is integrated into the individual bumper design of the towed vehicle. The BX1308 has removable tabs and should take a professional installer approximately 3-4 hours to install.

BX1308 Baseplate Footnotes:

• 1-Bumper fascia must be removed and replaced during installation.
• 2-Requires some trimming of the bumper (fascia, plastic and/or grill).
• 3-Requires some minor drilling
• 4-Requires some trimming of the air dam.
• 12-Baseplate has non-24 spaced attachment tabs. This requires either a motorhome mounted tow bar or an adapter to utilize a car mounted tow bar. Tow bar adapters are not to be used with vehicles weighing over 5,000 lbs.
• 13-Use only with motorhome mount tow bars or the BX8833 or BX88151 adapters. Removable tabs with only one (1) hole will not attach to car mount tow bars or other adapters. The Acclaim may only be used with removable tab baseplates that have a 22 or greater spaced tabs. The Adventurer may be used with baseplates having 18-41 spaced removable tabs. The Ambassador may only be used with 24 spaced removable tabs.
• Important Fitment Note:The BX1308 WILL fit "S" models, will NOT fit "JCW" John Cooper Works models
• Important Towability Note: Blue Ox offers the above baseplate for your vehicle, but how that vehicle is equipped (i.e. automatic transmission, 4-wheel drive, etc.) must be considered when determining its towability. Please read the owner's manual and/or consult your dealer for the correct towing procedures for your vehicle. Additional equipment such as a transmission pump or driveshaft disconnect may be required and are sold separately. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in damage to the towed vehicle or personal injury.
